We work with organizations to maximize their impact and efficacy, and promote the empowerment of their staff and the populations they serve. Our research on families experiencing homelessness highlights the needs, resilience, and best practices to address and elevate positive outcomes. We conduct evaluations to identify both areas of strength and opportunities for growth, providing nuanced insights that inform targeted recommendations. Our trainings broaden the knowledge and skills of staff, increasing their sense of competency and satisfaction in their work, resulting in reduced burnout and staff turnover.

 

Examples of recent projects include the following:

• Conducting program evaluations in shelter, housing, and childcare programs serving families experiencing homelessness

• Providing trainings and consultation on Family Critical Time Intervention and Motivational Interviewing for an initiative to implement an enhanced Rapid Re-housing model with high-need families leaving shelter

• Conducting organizational culture evaluations for shelter and housing programs 

• Providing Foundation and Advanced Motivational Interviewing Training within a trauma-informed framework to programs serving families experiencing homelessness, homeless prevention programs, and housing programs serving teenage mothers

• Conducting a mixed-methods Needs Assessment of Permanent Supportive Housing programs to  examine families' access to and utilization of quality early childhood education programs
